Training Corps
TS Hood started in 1995 and is a unit of the Nautical Training Corps which was founded in 1944. And caters for young people from seven years. The NTC are an independant Nautical Cadet corps and not associated with the Sea Cadet Corps
The Nautical Training Corps is a uniformed organisation which a number of units thoughout the South East of England and operates two national boating centres supporting Canoeing, power-boating, and sailing.
Ts Hoods Deck-night is on a Wednesday evening in the School Hall at James Dixon between the hours of 6:30PM and 9PM and offers a drop off service to cadets living in the local area using our own minibuses.
